Sunday after hearing Cal and Scott talk about there 36 inch redfish on the flats durring the Redbone tournament I was excited to get back on the pole after fishing the 24 Pathfider for 3 days. WOW the first fish that Alon and his 9 year old son caught was 33 inches and it was his first at that. I explained to him that he should be very proud of the fish because it would take him a while to catch another that size. Well we got back on the school and bam he hooked another this on has bigger at 35 inches. we went on the catch a few more after that. What a day! Great Job Monday I met friend and fly angler Keith Calhoun at 6:30am and told him of the schools and the young mans battle the day before. He was ready and to make a long story short Keith went on the catch 8 big redfish all over 30 inches but one which went 28. Our biggest was 36 what a fish and what a day. The worst part of the day no pictures. Once again thanks to you guys for making me look so good while in Saint Simons Island.
