| Huge Schools in COLD weather |
Been fishing quite a lot since before Christmas and as the weather dives into the mid 20s at night the fish have really schooled up huge. We fished around Egg Island on Friday and the fish were everywhere. Joe and his family cast soft plastics to the fish and managed to pull 13 fish from the school in about an hour. The trout were less cooperative after several shallow water spots we tried some deep drops with no luch earlier in the day. I feel they are just hunkered down with water temps. in the upper 40s and low 50s wouldn't you be? I have a busy week again this week full of fly fishing so check back soon for new reports.
