Florida Keys Fishing

Well I headed down south to Big Pine Key to guide some clients who fish with me in GA and we hammed the tarpon, permit, and snapper. I even got to fish a few days and got my fix for the year with poons on the fly. Brian L. got his first tarpon on fly durring the Tarpon Bonanza and Mike landed a huge 28 pound permit the same day. Bo and I got to fish the worm hatch at Bahia Honda and caught several fish. If you have never seen the worm hatch it is crazy. There were thousands of tarpon feeding for as far as we could see. It was a chance in a life time. Enjoy the pictures and if you are interested if fishing the 09 tarpon season in the middle and lower keys let me know I will start booking trips from May 20th 2009 for the keys.
