It has been an awsome summer and we are now ready for fall but before I go there let me tell you about what we have been doing and what we still have going on. Fishing for redfish has been great all summer with the early morning and late afternoon lo tide being the best. The white shrimp have moved out of the creeks and onto the flats and open waters of the sounds and bays. The Redfish have been very active with so much food avalable to them. LOTS of ACTION. The spanish, bar jacks, and blue fish have been on the beaches around the sand bars in abundance. Tarpon and spinner sharks have been all over the bars and cuts in St Andrews sound as well and the Huge Jacks have shown up in the last few days. We saw schools of thousnads from 10 to 40 pounds and for the fly fisherman these can be one of the hardest fighting fish around. They crash poppers and bait like flys and destroy them!! Well hope this excites everyone!! Dont forget to book your fall winter and spring redfish trips while I still have openings!!!! Tight loops and happy fishing
