He spent the majority of his younger days fishing the surf, bays, creeks, jetties, and any other place he could wet a line. Most weekends were spent offshore fishing with his father or honing his ability to locate and catch inshore species with friends and local old salts in and around the mouth of the Cape Fear River.Β For the pastΒ decade, Captain Rob has beenΒ extensively fishing and guiding the fertile waters of Georgia and North Florida.Β He is also a full time guide offering his clients a lifetime of experience. Β Β Tournaments Β Scott and Rob began fishing Professional tournament together several years ago and have managed to dominate the field with several top 5 finishes and a win during the Jacksonville opener in 2008. The two went on to win the CabelaβsΒ Divisional Team of the Year award for their success Β that year in the IFA Redfish series. They have fished in the IFA, FLW, and HT Series tournaments and continue to finish in the top of the fields time and time again. Β Β Captain Scott has donated his time for over 7 years to be a part of charity tournaments such as the Golden Isles Red-Trout Celebrity Classic and The Savannah Redbone Celebrity Shootout, which help raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. He and his clients have dominated the field over the years with numerous awards in both tournaments in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 including Team Grand Champions 6 out of 8 years in The Golden Isles Tournament.Β He and his clients have also won the Golden Isles Superfly tournament in 2007 and 2009.Β He also has guided his clients in the The Savannah Redbone Celebrity Shootout to 2 Grand Champion wins and a 2nd place Team Grand Champions while fishing with Chris Peterson (owner of Hells Bay Boats) and Frank Prior.Β Β Captain Rob has also been a regular participating guide in the Redbone celebrity tournament series that is dedicated to finding the cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
