Captain Scott Owens is one of the most experienced and sought after fishing guides in Coastal Georgia and North Florida. He has been featured on ESPN, The World Fishing Network, Sun Sports, Versus, and several other local and national networks.  He has also been in national publications like Fly Fish in Salt, Saltwater Sportsman, Florida Sportsman and The Redbone Journal and competes on the Professional Redfish circuit. He is a Licensed full time fishing guide offering his clients a life time of experience and over a decade of guiding here in Coastal Georgia . Scott can accommodate you.  Captain Scott specializes in sight fishing the shallow water of Coastal Georgia and North Florida.  He offers boats from 16 to 25 feet by Hells Bay boats and Shearwater as well as offshore boats upon request. Fishing the back water to the blue water is no problem and single anglers to large groups are welcome.  We are located in the beautiful Golden Isles on St. Simons Island and can trailer our smaller skiffs to more remote areas along Coastal Georgia or to meet our clients.  Fishing from Sapelo Island, Darien, Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Savannah, Sea Island, Cumberland Island, and St. Mary's Georgia as well as Amelia Island Fl. is no problem.  Captain Scott Also offering his clients fly casting lessons, dolphin and sunset tours, and birding are also available year around.

Tournament

Capt. Scott has donated his time for over 7 years to be a part of charity tournaments such as the Golden Isles Red-Trout Celebrity Classic and The Savannah Redbone Celebrity Shootout, which help raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. He and his clients have won numerous awards in both tournaments in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 including Team Grand Champions 5 out of 7 years in The Golden Isles Tournament and winners of the Super fly 2009 as well as Team Grand Champions twice while guideing the Savannah Tournament in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009. In 2007 he and his clients took home the gold in the 1st annual Golden Isles SuperFly tournament ever held outside the Florida Keys in 2007. He also is a professional redfish angler on the IFA and FLW tournament trails where he and his partner have dominated the field with several top 5 finishes and a win in Jacksonville for 2008 and 2009.  He and his partner Rob Aldridge won the Cabelas Team of the Year award for their success in the 2008 IFA Redfish series.
