Joel Dickey and I finally got a chance with our busy schedules to get out and do some fly fishing in North Georgia. We started the day off fly fishing the lower Toccoa River. The night before we got enough rain to really dirty up the water. It wasn’t very good fishing conditions for our newly tied up dry flies, but we did manage to catch some trout on top and then a few nymph fishing. Rather than put up with the dirty water all day we packed up and hit a tributary of the Toccoa River for another couple hours before heading home. Below is a picture of our best fish from the tributary.
 North Georgia Trout Fishing
This trout above took a parachute hopper in the tail of a shallow riffle.
