A couple of Aussies showed everyone how anglers from "down under" get 'r done!
Michelle and Geoff Thorburn from Perth, Australia went on a quick half day trip aboard the Capt. JR yesterday and did very well indeed. The Aussies landed 4 nice Dolphins, 7 Blackfin tunas, 2 yummy Tripletails and a toothy Cuda to boot. Not too shabby for just 4 hours out on the water.
So lets hear it for Michelle and Geoff: "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie- Oi, Oi, Oi!!!!" Lets put some Dolphin on the barbie mates!! :-)
Meanwhile a solo angler form S. Carolina aboard the Dee Cee with Capt. Chuck Schimmelman was not to be outdone.
George Holmstrom, an old time customer of Capt. Chuck, showed why he is a repeat customer. Capt. Chuck and trusty mate John helped the South Carolinian land a total of 18 Dolphins and 2 Blackfin tunas in about a half day outing. George was shipping home enough Dolphin fillets to last quite some time!
