A man who has made a career out of opening doors for the world's fisherman is getting the recognition he so richly deserves.The National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame has announced that Billy Chapman, Jr., operator of the world famous Anglers Inn fishing lodges in Mexico, is one of the men being inducted into the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame for 2009.
Chapman's name is being added to the Hall's prestigious "Special Recognition" category. Only 26 individuals or groups have received the same honor since that category was opened in 1992.Chapman is one of those rare individuals who have made dreams come true for countless bass anglers from all over the globe. He's done that by putting them in position to take the largest bass they've ever put in the boat. At the same time he's provided food and accomodations some of the top fishing lodges here in the United States would do well to match.If you're into bass fishing and study the sport, chances are good you already know who Billy is.
