10/12/09 > Today our fish count was off just a little (14 of our anglers chose to take most of the day off and help with the Dia da Criança festivities- Thanks). That being said the group landed a total of 258 peacocks with 7-10lbs, 5-11lbs, 4-13lbs, 1-14lb, 5-15lbs, 1-17lb, 2-18lbs, 1-19lb, and 1-20lb landed by Marsha Gage.
10/11/09 > Today the fishing seemed to slow down just a tad. Numbers were good but the group could not seem to land the monsters today (lots of straightened hooks, broken 80lb spectra line, etc.). Big fish of the day was landed by Cliff Miller (19 pounds). the total count was 453 peacock bass boated with 9-10lbs, 7-11lbs, 5-12lbs, 5-13lbs, 4-14lbs, 2-15lbs, 2-16lbs, 1-17lbs, 2-18-lbs, 1-19lbs. Still not a bad day.
10/10/09 > Today, the first fishing day of our second week saw good numbers of peacocks but since this group consisted primarily of returning customers (experienced peacock bass anglers) they focused more on size than on numbers. They landed a total of 449 peacocks with 25 10 pounds or greater, 16 15 pounds or greater and 5 20 pounds or better. the breakdown is as follows: 424 under 10 pounds, 2-10 Pounders, 2-12 pounders, 2-13, 3-14, 3-15, 2-16, 2-17, 2-18, 2-19, 2-20, 1-21, 1-22 and 1-23 pounder. Big fish of the day went to Geoffrey Zann for his 23 pounder! It is going to be tough to top these numbers.
